2018 BMW Auto 340i xDrive Gran Turismo Luxury 3.0L TwinPower Turbo 8-Speed ATM

The 1975 debut of the BMW 3 Series was more than a revelation it was a revolution. And after more than 40 years of constant refinement and evolution, its still the benchmark of its segment. The style and handling of the Sedan, Sports Wagon, and Gran Turismo make the 3 Series the most popular BMW Series of all time.

With striking looks and a spacious interior, the new 3 Series Gran Turismo fuses an elegant coupe-like shape with extraordinary amounts of space.

Striking looks and pure performance earned the BMW 3 Series iconic status. But adding a unique design, incredible spaciousness, and the all-weather reliability of xDrive as standard gave rise to a new classic: the 3 Series Gran Turismo.

Attitude from every angle. The coupe-inspired aerodynamic design of the 3 Series Gran Turismo is accentuated by Air Breathers and an active rear spoiler that reduces lift on the rear axle by 35 percent.

Scenery comes standard. The Panoramic moonroof features a fully electric slide and lift control. And for added climate control, a wind deflector keeps the wind out while an electric sunshade keeps the cabin cool.

More room to enjoy. The longer wheelbase of the 3 Series Gran Turismo gives rear seat passengers an extra three inches of legroom, while the 40/20/40 configuration accommodates cargo without sacrificing comfort. Drivers enjoy the view from an elevated seat and optional heated front and rear seats mean comfort for all.

Take it all on tour. Theres 24.6 cubic feet of trunk capacity in the 3 Series Gran Turismo and if thats not enough, the split fold-down rear seat increases capacity to 56.5 cubic feet. The standard Power tailgate makes loading easy, or add Comfort Access to open and close the tailgate with a wave of your foot under the bumper.

Added assistance for every drive. Optional features like Park Distance Control, Active Blind Spot Detection, Active Driving Assistant and more boost your confidence when youre behind the wheel.

Smooth rides at any speed. The versatile 8-speed Sport Automatic Transmission with paddle shifters in the 3 Series Gran Turismo uses a larger gear spread to focus performance at every level while boosting efficiency.

Generating 320 hp and 330 lb-ft. of torque at 1380-5000 rpms, this advanced inline six is our first turbocharged engine offered in the U.S. in decades. Turbo lag has been virtually eliminated, thanks to Double-VANOS steplessly variable valve timing, direct fuel injection, and BMW's inspired use of the latest TwinPower Turbo technology.
