2027 Grasshopper 226V-G4 52 in

Need more power for heavier grass or tougher conditions? Then a 200V-G4 zero-turn with added speed and durability is ideal for you.

Upgraded transmission.
Design-matched Hydro-Gear® transmissions level up the 200V-G4, bringing smooth, responsive, all-pro performance to these compact zero-turn riding mowers.

Smooth, efficient performance.
Both MidMount™ mowers in the 200V-G4 Series feature design-matched G4 Hydro-Gear® ZT-4400 transmissions, which are self-contained, heavy-duty commercial transaxles that provide powerful, smooth zero-turn response.

Reduced maintenance.
The transmission features integrated cooling fans and 1-3/8-inch axles that extend service life. Plus, a best-in-class transmission fluid change interval reduces costs and maintenance time.

More power for heavier grass.
Heavy-duty engines and upgraded G4 transmission transfer more power to the cutting deck so you can tackle thick, heavy grass with ease.

Great power-to-size ratio.
High-horsepower V-twin engines and a compact MidMount wheelbase provide an impressive power-to-size ratio perfect for heavy grass and tight spaces.

More power to the cutting deck.
The mower's design and G4 transmission allow more power to be transferred to the cutting deck, helping maintain optimal blade tip speed and enhance the quality of cut.

Added speed & performance.
Bring more #MowDay performance to your turf with the faster mowing speeds and added engine power of the 200V-G4 Series.

More acres per hour.
The mower's engine and efficient design bring mowing speeds to 9 MPH, allowing you to mow up to 5 acres per hour with a 61-inch deck.

Impressive engine power.
Choose between a 747-cc Rehlko® Confidant V-twin, an 810-cc B&S Vanguard engine, and a 852-cc Kawasaki® V-twin, each loaded with efficient power and performance.

Features May Include:

Heavy-Duty Deck

• Made from heavy-gauge formed US steel with a reinforced leading edge and massive 8-inch Sentry™ spindles for incredible strength and impact durability. Plus, specially-designed 5.5-inch cutting chambers enhance airflow for better cut quality.

MARBAIN® Cutting Blades

• MARBAIN® cutting blades are 1/4-inch thick and are through-hardened to hold their edge longer, delivering a better cut and twice the life of aftermarket blades.

Shock Impact Reduction System

• A single-piece mower frame with strategically placed iso-mounting throughout that absorbs shock and reduces vibrations for a smoother ride.

Low Center Of Gravity

• 200V-G4 series models have a single-fill fuel tank mounted beneath the seat, lowering the center of gravity and allowing the machine more traction and stability.

Ultimate Operator Station

• The Grasshopper Ultimate Operator Station™ is centered around a deep-cushioned seat featuring coil-spring suspension and padded lumbar support. The seat is iso-mounted to reduce vibration and covered in cool, comfortable Cordura® fabric that won't tear or crack with extended use.
• It also features easy-to-reach operational controls, including the throttle, ignition, and push/pull PTO switch. Plus, QuikAjust Tilt™ dual levers with a 9-inch adjustment range allows for a more custom fit and will automatically return to neutral from either forward or reverse.

Steel Build

ROPS

• All 200V-G4 Series mowers come standard with a low-profile Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) and adjustable seatbelt for safe operation.

Hydraulically Dampened Steering Levers

• The hydraulically dampened steering levers deliver a smooth, responsive ride and return to neutral when released from both forward and reverse.

DropPin Height Adjustment

• DropPin™ Height Adjustment makes cutting height changes fast and simple by using a foot pedal and drop pin to raise and lower the deck between 1 and 5 inches.

Reduced Maintenance

• 200V-G4 Series mowers have only two Access-Eze™ lubrication points, which cut maintenance time down by up to 95%. Additionally, self-tensioning belts minimize costs and labor associated with routine maintenance.
